| Sorry these took so long to process and upload. I was a little busy. But anyway, Marina and the Diamonds put on quite the show. There were various costume changes and props used during her set. I still don’t know how I feel about her whole Electra Heart persona. I feel like the reason I really connected with her music was that she kind of denounced all of the things she now projects. Her music has gone down a more electronic path but I feel like that it isn’t too much that it is unlistenable. I think the set was well balanced as well. She did just the right amount of the good and the old. Although she has changed her clothes and dyed her hair , she still has an amazing voice and a huge stage presence.

Two Door Cinema Club- Sleep Alone

Two Door Cinema Club is back! After a little bit of a break they have released the first single off their upcoming album Beacon. Sleep Alone sounds really good. It is TDCC at their best. Now today only you can download the single for free from their website. You better hurry you only got 22 hours left. They also announced a North American tour. I saw them at Coachella and they are really fantastic. They are also getting support from Friends, who have been on my radar for a while. So what do you think of the new single??
The Vaccines Play 4 New Songs In Session With Zane Lowe
The Vaccines did a special session performance for Zane Lowe yesterday. The band played for 20 lucky contest winners at BBC’s Maida Vale studios. They played 9 songs including 4 new ones from there upcoming album The Vaccines Come Of Age. Although these new songs have been played at some of their recent shows it is nice to hear them in a studio setting. The new songs are above and beyond anything they did on their debut album. The new songs are still direct but are more complex than their predecessors. My personal favorite is Weirdo. It is very different than their usual stuff. It is a lot slower and revealing than anything they have done before. Hearing these songs makes me even more anxious to listen to the whole album You can listen to the whole session right here. They also released a new video for there new single Teenage Icon. check it out below
The Killers-Runaways

The Killers released gave us a little taste of what there forthcoming album Battle Born will sound like. They premiered Runaways today on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. The song is fantastic. But would be expect anything less from The Killers. This is their first new material since 2008′s Day and Age. Battle Born is set to drop on September 18th. Check out the track below
The Vaccines Release New B-Side Blow Your Mind

The Vaccines have released the B-Side that will be on the No Hope single. But instead of frontman Justin Young singing, bassist Arni Arnason takes over vocal duties. Even though Arnason is originally from Iceland, he has a surprisingly strong English accent. Although the vocals might of changed it is undeniably a Vaccines track. Arni isn’t the only one that will take over vocal duties. Each member of the band will have their own B-Side. Check out the b side below. You can buy the single next Tuesday
Listen To : Theme Park

After a few dreadful pop songs on Radio 1′s Review Show today, a wonderful little tune came on called Jamaica by up and coming band Theme Park. It was like being transported to a beach and soaking up the rays. It was love at first listen. Upon listening to some of the other tracks posted on Theme Park’s Youtube page, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Jamaica was not a fluke. If I was Metronomy i would be worried about these guys overtaking them for kings of electro pop.
Blur Debut The Puritan and Under The Westway On Twitter

Blur debuted two new songs for their shows for the Olympics today. They played on a London rooftop this morning to some fans braving the rain below. The performance was live streamed on their twitter page with the band then doing a twitter q & a session. They first played Under The Westway followed by the upbeat and fun The Puritan. I think its safe to say that Blur are back. Hopefully these songs will appear on a new Blur album. The band has been mum on a new album or any new shows beyond the Olympic gigs. Check out the new songs below and check out the live performances here. You can also now buy the songs on ITunes now
